About the Company
Astute Solutions was
founded in 1995 by Joseph M. Sanda, President and Chief Executive Officer, a successful entrepreneur in the customer care market and
experienced software professional. Sanda recognized an opportunity in the
consumer relationship management market (CRM) and began to develop a core
solution that would help speed response to consumers and improve agent
efficiency in the customer service and support (CSS) niche of CRM.
Sanda built upon his
broad experience in consumer relations and was instrumental in the
development of the cutting edge technology brought forward in PowerCenter™,
our traditional client-server contact management solution, ReferralCenter™,
our browser-based issue referral system, and PowerCenter™ OrderManagement,
our integrated ordering system designed to help manage fulfillment. Through
their flexibility and ease-of-use, these solutions revolutionized the
customer care marketplace.
In 2000, Sanda and his
team developed and released a series of six complimentary modules—
PowerCenter™ Email, PowerCenter™ FAQ, PowerCenter™ Chat, PowerCenter™
Interaction, PowerCenter™ Business Intelligence, and PowerCenter™
KnowledgeServer. These new modules expanded the Internet, telephony and
reporting capabilities of PowerCenter and brought forth the birth of “The
PowerCenter™ Family of Products”. These capabilities increased the value of
solutions and allowed customers to integrate multiple channels of
communication, improve service, increase agent productivity and reduce
contact center costs.
Since inception Astute
has been a fast-growing, privately held corporation helping Global 1000
companies and other leaders in their industry attract and retain quality
customers through effective customer interaction solutions. The
company and the PowerCenter Family of Products have received numerous
achievements and award recognition from the customer care and technology
community including: the 2001 Product of the Year Award from Customer
Inter@action Solutions Magazine, placement on INC500 and Deloitte and
Touche’s Fast 500 and four consecutive Users Choice Awards.
