GDPR updates, new certifications among this year's security enhancements to Astute's customer engagement product suite

Astute today announced the results of their 2018 commitment to enhancing data security within their suite of customer engagement products. Enhancements include new certifications and additional measures to help ensure GDPR compliance for their clients, many of which are global consumer brands.

Companies across the globe use Astute's technology for CRM and customer case management, social media management, digital customer self-service, and more. For companies that have customers in the European Union, 2018 brought a new compliance requirement: GDPR. To assist clients with this challenge, not only has Astute made product and security enhancements, they offered a readiness workshop for customers. As regulations continue to evolve, Astute stands ready to help clients say compliant.

Astute's commitment to continuous improvement across their solution set includes actively building new functionality, but also drives the development of data security improvements. Some of the highlights of this year's security enhancement initiative include: achieving PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider Certification, becoming ISO 27001 compliant, completing additional penetration testing for core platforms, and partnering with TokenEx to enable secure tokenization within the solutions.
